Today is the first day of the 2025 Gaokao

Only 365 days left until it's my turn. Honestly, three years of high school flew by, and it's almost over.

I remember back then, I even wrote this article and officially stopped updating for 143 days.

Will I do the same this year?

Answer: No, but I’ll definitely reduce my time on GitHub and development.

Being able to attend a top-10 high school in Jiangsu is fortunate. My next goal is University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

With the level of our school and myself, I still need to raise my score by 80 points, from rank 300 in the grade to rank 30, to make sure it’s a sure win.

Do I have the confidence? Yes, and no.

This afternoon, I saw the essay topic for the new Gaokao exam, and I had a sudden jolt in my heart. Damn, I’ve never written on this topic (to be exact, I’m not sure if it's this topic). I have no idea where the first material is from or its background. But in the afternoon, the education examination institute released the article, and it turned out I was right. Yes, it’s a patriotic topic.

But we’ve never practiced this theme. I bet the seniors are also clueless in the exam.

I haven't thoroughly studied conic curves and derivatives, my organic synthesis isn't fully learned, and I still haven’t patched up the big gaps in my electric fields...

The next year will be difficult.

The next year, we'll face battles.

Only 365 days left.
